Families at Ephrata School District received this message Thursday evening after a thread was made:
Tiger Families – We have made the decision to close all Ephrata Schools tomorrow, Friday, November 15. Since the time of our last message, we’ve been made aware of additional threats involving multiple schools. Cancelling school provides time for the district to work with local law enforcement to investigate and determine appropriate next steps. All school events are cancelled tomorrow, including driver’s education, bus routes to CB Tech, the blood drive at EHS, sports practices at EMS and any club meetings at our schools. Cabaret has also been cancelled for Friday night. The safety of our students and staff continues to be our top priority. We appreciate your patience as we work through this emerging situation.
