Updated July 16 at 8:30 p.m. – Evacuations have been dropped according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation orders for areas around Electric City Tuesday due to a wildfire.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, people should be ready to leave immediately.
“Level 2 Evacuation notice from Sunny Drive to 5th St north of Electric City. We are warning you that due to an approaching fire, you must prepare to leave now or at a moment’s notice,” the sheriff’s office said.
Update: July 16 at 6:30 p.m. – Evac levels have been lowered from Sunny Drive to 5th Street in Electric City.
Update: July 16 at 5 p.m. – Level 1 (be ready) evacuation orders are in place on S SR155 to Western Ave.
