SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho – The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office evacuated homes near Interstate 90 Friday afternoon due to a gas leak.
According to the sheriff’s office, the leak took place at 6th Street under I-90.
“We are evacuating the area of 6th and Cedar all the way north of I90. We are also evacuating one block to the east and one block to the west of this location,” the sheriff’s office said.
As of 12:45 p.m., the source of the leak had yet to be identified.
