NEW YORK (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump talked for six minutes at the sentencing in his New York hush money case. The judge, a prosecutor and a defense lawyer also spoke. Trump appeared by video from his Florida home and received no punishment for his conviction on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. The Republican says it was “a very terrible experience.” The judge says the court determined the only lawful sentence that permits entry of a judgment of conviction without encroaching upon the highest office in the land is an unconditional discharge.
