SPOKANE, Wash. – A wave of Christmas lights will light this weekend across Spokane, offering families several holiday events from which to choose.
This Saturday, Santa will be at the lighting of the River Park Square Christmas tree. The event will start with family activities from 3 to 5 p.m., with additional festivities along Post Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Santa will arrive at 5 p.m. for pictures.
In Liberty Lake, the Winter Glow Spectacular will also kick-off this Saturday, with the Christmas lights in Orchard Park lighting up at 5 p.m. Families are invited to see the lights and meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Additional tree lightings are planned for the following weekend. The Christmas tree in Riverfront Park near the will be lit at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30, with festivities for families starting at 4 p.m. at the plaza.
