SPOKANE, Wash. – Multi-artist celebration of Jimi Hendrix’s music and legacy, Experience Hendrix, is headed on tour for the first time in five years.
A total of 10 guitarists and musicians will join forces to pay tribute to Hendrix’s most legendary songs for a three-hour music experience, including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde, Eric Johnson,Taj Mahal, Noah Hunt, Mato Nanji, Chuck Campbell and Calvin Cooke of the Slide Brothers, Dylan Triplett, Ayron Jones and Henri Brown.
The group will head to Spokane for their second night of the tour, right after kicking it off in Hendrix’s hometown of Seattle.
The concert will be held at the First Interstate Center for the Arts on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 26 at 10 a.m., range from $59 to $129 and can be purchased at Tickets West.
Outside of a one-off event in Austin, Texas in 2022, the last national tour was back in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2024 tour additionally marks the 20th anniversary of Experience Hendrix, which began as a stand-alone concert in San Diego in 2001 and 2002. Experience Hendrix embarked on their first full-fledged national tour in 2004.
