SUNCREST, Wash. — Washington State Patrol (WSP) is at the scene of a fatal one-car crash near Suncrest.
According to WSP, the crash occurred two miles north of Suncrest on State Route 291 near milepost 24 around 7:45 p.m. on May 25. The road is completely blocked as WSP and Stevens County Sheriff’s Office investigate the incident.
At this time, there are no detours in place and no estimated time on when the road will reopen again. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
