SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane International Airport will host Felts Field Neighbor Day on June 1 this year. The free event will include flight demonstrations and food trucks.
It will take place from 9 am to 3 pm and will celebrate the history of Spokane’s first major airport.
“[It] wasn’t just Spokane’s first commercial airport, before the opening of Spokane International Airport, it’s also one of the oldest federally designated airports in the nation,” the Spokane International Airport’s website states.
In addition to seeing planes fly, there will be grounded exhibitions and tickets available for helicopter rides.
Additional information on the event can be found on Spokane International Airport’s website.
