Ferry County deputies seek help identifying gas pump vandal suspect

PINE GROVE, Wash. – The Ferry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a man who reportedly vandalized a gas pump.

According to Ferry County deputies, on July 16 at around 8:45 p.m., security cameras at the Pine Grove Junction gas pumps recorded an older man wearing a sleeveless white shirt, blue jeans, and a brown cowboy hat damaging the Cenex pump located at the back entrance of Pine Grove.

Deputies reported that the suspect arrived at Pine Grove in a white dual-wheeled diesel Ford pickup with a black flatbed. He attempted to fuel up at the pump but was unsuccessful. Shortly after leaving the station, he returned and appeared to intentionally damage the rear pump.
