SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Fire Department responded to a fire at a building in downtown Spokane Tuesday.
The incident was called into emergency responders at 12:22 p.m. as the building threw off smoke.
It appears that there were no active businesses at the location and that the property may have been boarded up before the fire started.
Updated Dec. 24 at 12:45 p.m. – Spokane Fire Department Chief Julie O’Berg said that the department had a good handle on the fire as emergency crews continue to assess the situation.
