CLARKSTON, Wash. – Firefighters are currently battling a fire that began as a house fire and has spread to a nearby field.
According to the Washington Department of Natural Resources, the report of a house fire near 27th Street and 6th Avenue in Clarkston Heights quickly escalated, spreading into nearby grass. Fire crews from Lewiston, Washington DNR and Asotin County are actively working to contain the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
