TWISP, Wash. — Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuations have been ordered due to a fire burning near State Route 20.
The fire was reported to firefighters around 1 p.m. and is currently active in the vicinity of State Route 20. Evacuation orders are in effect for the area east of Upper Beaver Creek, Frazer Crossing Road and Twisp.
Okanogan County Emergency Management advises residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions. Please exercise caution around emergency vehicles responding to the incident.
