Fire response in downtown Spokane caused by fan motor issue

SPOKANE, Wash. – Part of First Avenue in downtown Spokane is back open after fire crews responded to a call at a building.

Firefighters received the call around 9:30 a.m. yesterday. The incident occurred across the street from Brick West, in the Eldridge Building.

Firefighters were seen climbing up to the roof during the response.

The owner of Carnegie Nail Design reached out and explained that the issue was caused by a fan motor from her business.
