SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters from multiple departments are battling a fire at the Waste Management recycling facility on Geiger Boulevard.
Firefighters first responded at about noon on Friday. Some smoke could be seen coming from the building shortly after. Waste Management employees evacuated the facility.
Officials haven’t shared any information about the fire. A Spokane Fire Department spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to a request for more information.
