SPOKANE, Wash. – The Firefighters of Local 2916 Benevolent Association will host their annual golf tournament on September 8 at Wandermere Golf Course to support various community initiatives in the Inland Northwest.
A spokesperson from Spokane County Fire District 9 stated that the event aims to raise funds for scholarships, assistance for families affected by tragedies and aid for firefighters injured on the job. Since its inception in 2014, the nonprofit organization has contributed over $200,000 to these causes. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax-deductible.
The public is invited to participate in the tournament and support the association. Contributions can be made through direct financial donations, underwriting or hole sponsorships.
