SPANGLE, Wash. – Spokane County Fire District #3 (SCFD #3) responded to a small brush fire on Wednesday.
According to the fire district, the fire began north of Spangle on the 16000 block of S. Stentz Road after a burn pile reportedly escaped into the surrounding brush.
“This is a good time to remind everyone that Rule Burning is no longer allowed as we move further into the summer,” SCFD #3 said.
The Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency asks county residents to call the Burn Restriction Hotline at (509) 477-4710 before starting any fires.
