CHENEY, Wash. – Spokane County Fire District #3 firefighters stopped forward progress on their near Cheney at around 12:30 p.m..
According to the fire district, the brush fire sparked on the 17100 block of West Sterling Road. It was about sixty by sixty feet and slow moving.
Firefighters quickly handled the blaze and spent the afternoon mopping it up.
