PIONEERVILLE, Idaho – The that sparked due to a lightning strike in early August was over 50% contained Saturday morning.
According to the Idaho Department of Lands, the fire has drawn about 415 firefighting personnel and burned 3,700 acres.
Crews will continue to work on containing the fire over the weekend, with heavy machinery workers also being used to create additional dozer lines.
