Former Houston mayor to discuss homelessness in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – Annise Parker, the former mayor of Houston and a key figure in organizing the city’s regional response to homelessness, will share her insights with the Spokane community on Tuesday.

Parker is set to be the keynote speaker at ‘Hello for Good’s Fall Symposium’ at the Davenport Grand Hotel.

The symposium will focus on Houston’s regional approach to homelessness, which is widely considered one of the most successful efforts in recent decades. The event begins at 8:00 a.m.
