FOUND: Washington State Patrol seeks missing Indigenous Omak woman

UPDATED July 5, 6:45 p.m. – Whitney Flett has been found and Washington State Patrol has cancelled her missing indigenous person alert.

OMAK, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is searching for a missing Indigenous woman who was last seen in Omak.

According to WSP, Whitney Flett, 35, was last seen on July 1 around 4 p.m. leaving her home in Omak. She was believed to be heading to Walmart. Her vehicle is a 2013 Dodge Avenger sedan with Washington State license plate number CME2807. She was last observed driving between Okanogan and Omak on July 4.

Flett is described as a 5-foot 6-inch tall woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black crop top with black or blue jeans and sandals.
