DEER PARK, Wash. – Stevens County firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire near Deer Park. Four people have been minorly injured as a result of the fire.
According to a Facebook post from Stevens County Fire District 1, the fire occurred on Monday night around Bittrich-Antler Road, west of Swenson.
Firefighters reported that the road was closed, but the fire had not spread into nearby wildlands. The Washington State Department of Natural Resources is on the scene, monitoring the field next to the fire due to falling embers.
The four people who were injured were not transported to the hospital.
