FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash.-The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is warning customers who may have bought a car in Eltopia recently that they might be the victims of odometer fraud.
The alleged fraud stems from an investigation started last fall by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, which grew to include the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and involved the sale of cars going back months and possibly even years.
