SPOKANE, Wash. — Providence and the Spokane Parks Foundation are inviting the public to two free neighborhood pool parties scheduled for this month and the next.
“Make A Splash,” a series of free neighborhood pool parties open to all, will feature Providence offering complimentary Kona Ice snow cones and beach towels for all attendees.
Details for the pool parties are as follows:
Friday, July 12
– Location: Hillyard Aquatics Center, 2600 East Columbia Avenue
– Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, August 2
– Location: Liberty Aquatics Center, 1300 East 5th Avenue
– Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The “Make a Splash in a Kid’s Life” program is funded entirely through corporate partnerships and donations.
The Foundation will use these funds to increase access to life-saving swim lessons, drowning prevention and water safety clinics for at-risk and low-income youth.
