Freeman school shooter resentencing date set

FREEMAN, Wash. — Caleb Sharp, the Freeman High School shooter, is scheduled to appear in court this Friday for resentencing.

found that Sharp’s , was too lengthy.

Sharp, who was 15 years old at the time of the 2017 shooting, was convicted of shooting four people—three of whom were seriously injured and one who died.

Sharp’s attorneys are requesting a reduced sentence of 25 years, citing his age at the time of the offense as a factor in their argument. The court will consider these arguments during the resentencing proceedings.
