CHELAN, Wash. – A highway rockslide west of Chelan left the roadway blocked for several hours on Wednesday night.
Washington State Department of Transportation responded to the roadway after they say freezing rain and snow loosened the rocks leading to the slide.
Crews spent several hours clearing the roadway and the highway has reopened.
WSDOT reminds travelers that if you see rock or debris to call 911 so that crews can safely remove the rock.
