GARFIELD COUNTY, Wash. – A Garfield County firefighter rescued a cat trapped in a fireplace after it fell down the chimney.
According to Garfield County Fire District 1, firefighters responded to a report of a cat caught behind the fireplace insert. They found that the cat had fallen down the chimney. Firefighters were able to remove the insert and rescue the cat, which appeared to be unharmed.
