MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Multiple businesses in Moses Lake were evacuated due to a gas leak on Tuesday morning.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the gas leak is considered moderate, with a possible threat to life or property.
The Walmart and Shopko at North Stratford Road and West Valley Road are closed and are being evacuated. Other affected businesses are also being evacuated.
Officers are instructing people to stay away from the area. So far, there have been no reported injuries or illnesses from the leak.
