SPOKANE, Wash. – Girl Named Tom, the sibling trio known for winning NBC’s “The Voice,” is set to perform at the Fox Theatre in Spokane as part of their Joy of Christmas Tour. The band, comprised of Caleb, Bekah, and Joshua Liechty, promises a show filled with emotion and inclusivity.
Caleb Liechty shared their excitement about connecting with audiences, saying, “We love hearing the stories of people who come to our shows… and they’re able to cry, laugh, sing along… it’s a really great show, there’s something for everybody.”
The band has been making music together for their entire lives but only started intentionally harmonizing in 2019 when they officially formed. They emphasize that they are not just a Christmas band, although they do have a lot of holiday music, including new songs they plan to perform.
Bekah Liechty highlighted the importance of togetherness during the holidays, stating, “The point of the holidays is just being together… it doesn’t matter if your family fights or has little squabbles… it’s just the fact that you all keep showing up.”
Doors for the show open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available starting at about $50. You can buy tickets here.
In addition to their performance, Girl Named Tom plans to visit local favorite, The People’s Waffle, in downtown Spokane. The band has had many memorable experiences, including performing at the National Symphony and the Indy 500, and they look forward to creating new memories in Spokane.
Joshua Liechty described the special moments during their performances, saying, “Often times after we’re done singing there’s like a 3 second silence that’s such a beautiful moment.” Caleb added, “It’s cool how much of a listening crowd our audience typically is. They really appreciate the music and you can tell they’re keen on every note.”
For those interested in attending, tickets are still available, and the community is encouraged to join Girl Named Tom for an evening of music and holiday spirit.
