SPOKANE, Wash. – Attention all runners! Global Running Day is coming to Spokane, and numerous running events are happening throughout the region. Everyone is welcome to join in the excitement.
Spokane will host The Big Run, a 5k race along the Centennial Trail, on June 5 in Kendall Yards. Runners of all levels, whether experienced or novice, are encouraged to participate, and the event is free of charge. For further details about The Big Run, click here.
The Iron Goat Running Club will also organize a 5k race on June 5, meeting at 6 p.m. at Iron Goat Brewing.
The New York Road Runners (NYRR) will also host a virtual race, which is free of charge and open to participants worldwide.

Coeur d’Alene will kick off its 70.3-mile Ironman race starting on June 23. The race begins with a 1.2-mile swim in Lake Coeur d’Alene, followed by a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run through the city. Click here for additional information.
Moreover, the Stache Dash, featuring 5K, 10K, and half marathon courses, will be held at the Children of the Sun Trail, commencing at Farwell Elementary School in north Spokane in June.
