SPOKANE, Wash. – The latest college basketball national rankings place Gonzaga University at number eight in the country.
The rankings were released in the A P top 25 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time.
Gonzaga dropped one spot from number seven following a close 90-89 overtime loss to Kentucky, who is ranked number four. Both of Gonzaga’s losses this season have occurred in overtime.
The Bulldogs are set to play again this Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York.
They will face off against the University of Connecticut, who are ranked number 18. The Huskies are the two-time defending national champions.
