Grant County sheriff’s deputies arrest woman after burglary call

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – A woman was arrested by Grant County sheriff’s deputies answering a burglary call on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the woman allegedly attempted to evade law enforcement.

“While trying to evade capture, the female suspect pulled out a knife and cut her wrists. She was eventually coaxed into surrendering. She has been transported to Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake,” the sheriff’s office said.

No additional information was shared with the public, though the office did say that details in the case would be released on Monday.
