MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Groff Elementary School plans for remote learning on Monday and Tuesday
According to a Facebook post by the Moses Lake School District, multiple teams with engineers and electricians from outside the district inspected the electrical system. They recommended precautionary repairs that required additional time for safety measures.
Teachers will be using their Google Classrooms to deliver remote lessons. Students can check out Chromebooks on Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Their online class can be accessed through any internet-connected device.
Groff Elementary School is also offering free breakfast and lunches that can be picked up between 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Parents with a 3rd-grade student who usually attends NOVA on Monday can drop them off at Groff Elementary at 10:45 a.m. and pick them up at 2:35 p.m. or take them directly to NOVA. 4th-grade students attending NOVA on Tuesdays can meet the bus at 9:15 a.m. and pick them up at 2:25 p.m. or take them directly to NOVA.
Moses Lake School District says they expect the school to reopen on Wednesday, April 17.
