The Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service (SCRAPS) handles animals besides dogs and cats. Along with pigs, sheep, rabbits, goats and horses, our Animal Protection Officers have rescued emus, alligators, African tortoises and, right now, we have a “monkey.”
For our annual auction, we received a signed GU Men’s Basketball and somewhere along the line this “monkey” became attached to it.
We are looking for guests to attend our big event on Friday, April 21st to help find a home for the “monkey” and raise money for the medical treatment needed by thousands of homeless, abused and abandoned animals. The event features a silent and live auction, pet pageant, and raffles along with wine, beer and hard cider tastings.
It’s the purr-fect way to support our furry friends! To purchase tickets or for more information, visit our website at www.SCRAPSHopeFoundation.org
