SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County Fire District 9 crews are mopping up the fire.
UPDATE 2:33 P.M.
Spokane County Fire District 9 is currently responding to a half-acre fire near Saint George’s School.
District 9, along with the Spokane Fire Department and the Washington Department of Natural Resources, is actively battling a half-acre fire located at Rutter Parkway west of Saint George’s School.
Spokane Fire District 9 said that no evacuations are needed at this time. Classes at Saint George are not session at this time as well.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and fire crews continue to work on containing the blaze.
