Hayden man receives probation for holding hunting knife to maintenance worker’s neck

HAYDEN, Idaho – A Hayden man found guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon received probation in court last month.

According to the Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office, the man threatened a maintenance worker at his apartment by putting a knife to his neck during a scheduled smoke damage inspection.

He was sentenced to probation for two years on June 20. Those on probation are required to remain in contact with the Idaho Department of Corrections and court system.
