BOISE, Idaho – Wednesday marks two years since the tragic loss of four University of Idaho students, who were killed in their off-campus home on November 13, 2022.

The murders shocked the nation and deeply affected the local community. Bryan Kohberger is the prime suspect in this case. This week, a hearing took place to discuss arguments for striking the death penalty if he is convicted.

The parents of Kaylee Goncalves, one of the victims, attended the proceeding in Boise. They shared their difficult experience.,

“It’s not easy. That’s not an easy thing to be, you know, to be looking at the back of the man that you know, potentially murdered your daughter,” said the victim’s parents.

There is no word yet on whether the University of Idaho plans to hold a ceremony on Wednesday.
