SPOKANE, Wash. – USA Today selected Spokane’s historic hotel, The Davenport, as the fifth-best hotel and resort in the U.S. for historic stays.
The Historic Davenport opened in 1914 and has been well-known in the Spokane community for its exceptional stays and fine dining.
It ranked 5th behind the Grand Hotel in Alabama and The Peabody Hotel in Tennessee.
The hotel was nearly torn down back in 2002 but was saved by the Worthy’s and restored to what stands today.
