BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) have changed their phone numbers following a transition of a new service provider to improve call times and better customer service.
“We take about 2,000 calls a day at the DMV,” said the Idaho DMV administrator Lisa McClellan. “We’ve been working since early February, setting up and testing the new system to ensure a smooth transition for all those customers.”
The old phone number callers were directed to was 208-334-8000.
The two new numbers for Idaho residents to use are:

The Idaho DMV also is reminding customers that transactions and other functions can be completed online at www.dmv.idaho.gov.
They also remain open during business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday to Friday.
