POCATELLO, Idaho – Two Idaho men will spend over a decade behind bars after they created and distributed child sexual abuse material.

According to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, Shaun Patrick Conley and Matthew Dayton White will spend 15 and 12 years in prison respectively.

Conely used his phone to secretly film an 11-year-old child inappropriately, and owned a collection of child abuse material. White, a resident of Idaho Falls, also had child abuse material on his computer and hid a camera in a 13-year-old’s bathroom in 2023.

Both men will now spend the next several years in federal prison.

Several agencies helped investigate White and Conley, including Homeland Security, Idaho State Probation and Parole, the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, the Blackfoot Police Department, the Shelley Police Department, the Pocatello Police Department, and the Idaho Falls Police Department.
