COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – A new initiative in Idaho is providing free fishing licenses to children in foster care.
This program is a collaborative effort involving Idaho Fish and Game, the Department of Health and Welfare, and various outdoor and fishing advocacy groups.
In addition to the children, one foster parent per household will receive a voucher. This voucher, issued by the Department of Health and Welfare, can be redeemed for a fishing license at a Fish and Game office.
This initiative aims to encourage outdoor activities and provide foster families with opportunities to enjoy Idaho’s natural resources.
