BOISE, Idaho – The Outdoor Recreation Fund Advisory Council (ORFAC) announced Friday that it is searching for new recreational projects next year.
The advisory council, which falls under Idaho State Parks and Recreation, will use to potentially create new bridges, trails or campgrounds.
“This represents a great potential opportunity for those who have shovel-ready projects, or ones that are close to it, to build facilities that create new access to the outdoors,” Parks and Recreation director Susan Buxton said.
Additional State Legislature funding approved by Governor Brad Little’s office will also be utilized in some new recreation projects next year. The deadline to apply for funding is Sept. 30.
