Idaho State Police will partner with the Washington State Patrol for DUI emphasis patrols this Friday.
The patrols will honor WSP Trooper Christopher Gadd, who died earlier this year. WSP troopers and other officers will increase efforts to stop intoxicated driving across Washington.
This initiative extends to Idaho, with state police urging residents to drive safely and sober. Trooper Gadd was killed in Marysville, Washington, on March 2 when he was hit by a drunk driver speeding on I-5.
