PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) has identified the cause of a car crash and .
According to WSP, at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, a car driven by 94-year-old Beverly Gearhiser was turning from Garrison Road onto when it was struck by a car traveling eastbound, driven by a 34-year-old woman.
WSP said Gearhiser died as a result of the crash, which was caused by a failure to yield. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time.
