OLYMPIA, Wash. – Initial election results show Nick Brown (D) leading in the polls for Washington State Attorney General with 56.3 percent of the vote with Pete Serrano (R) with 43.7 percent of the vote, according to NBC News.
Pete Serrano if the current Mayor of Pasco and has served as a city councilmember since 2018. Serrano attended Vermont Law School and received and LLM in Environmental Law. He later moved to Washington and worked at the Hanford Site as an environmental attorney.
Nick Brown attended Harvard Law School and served as General Counsel to Gov. Jay Inslee. Brown served as U.S. Attorney for Western Washington from 2021 to 2023.
