RATHDRUM, Idaho – Northern Lake firefighters rescued an injured hiker yesterday afternoon at Rathdrum Mountain.
On April 7, around 3:45 p.m., emergency response crews were alerted to an injured hiker on the mountain.
Firefighters said they located the hiker about a half mile down a hiking trail and provided medical aid until more members arrived.
Fire crews from M51, E523 and BC5 successfully removed the patient without any further injury and the patient was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
