Inland Northwest Honor Flight takes 89 veterans to Washington D.C.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Four Korean War veterans and 85 Vietnam veterans gathered at the Spokane International Airport on Monday to visit the nation’s capital for the 2024 Honor Flight.

These 89 heroes visited Washington D.C. to visit the memorials commemorating their service, remember the fallen and share their experiences with other veterans.

The Honor Flight takes place annually to honor veterans for their services and sacrifices.

The veterans are expected to return to the Inland Northwest on April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Spokane International Airport. All are welcome to honor and support their journey.
