Investigators say Coeur d’Alene house fire result of arson

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – A Tuesday house fire in Coeur d’Alene was set intentionally according to investigators.

The fire on West Centennial Place occurred at around 10 pm according to the Coeur d’Alene (CDA) Fire Department.

CDA fire investigators initially found evidence that the fires could have been set intentionally after the blaze was extinguished at around 2 am.

On Wednesday, Idaho State Fire Marshal’s Office and Spokane County Fire investigators joined CDA fire and police investigators and concluded that the fire was a result of arson.

“At this time, we have determined that this fire was intentionally set by a person or persons unknown,” CDA fire said.
