GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – An irrigation canal broke between Road 5 and Road O causing potential flooding on nearby roads and possibly affecting other areas along its path.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, at around 10 p.m. on August 5, a canal broke between Road 5 and Road O Northeast. Roads potentially affected by the flooding include Road 4 and parts of Wheeler Road.
Grant County deputies said that water is over the roadway at the 4300 block of Road N NE and is traveling southwest towards Road N NE & Road 4 NE.
