MOSCOW, Idaho — The judge presiding over the case of Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of killing four University of Idaho students has issued new deadlines for pre-trial motions.

According to the court order, the defense has until Jan. 9 to file motions, and the prosecution has until Jan. 16 to respond.

A hearing is scheduled for Jan. 29 to address multiple pre-trial motions. While the court docket does not specify which motions will be discussed, several remain pending. Among them are defense motions requesting the state to disclose additional evidence.

The case stems from the Nov. 2022 deaths of four students in an off-campus home, which garnered national attention. Kohberger, who was arrested in Dec. 2022, has pleaded not guilty to the charges and remains in custody as the legal proceedings continue.
