K9 Tuco helps Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office take a bite out of crime

KELLOGG, Idaho – The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office thanked a private donor for supplying funds to hire Tuco, a K9 officer who assists with deputies.

According to the sheriff’s office, Tuco is an 18-month-old Belgian Malinois from Mexico. He is still being trained and is doing well.

“We are very grateful for this donation as one of our other K9s is close to retirement. Tuco was chosen out of a selection of different dogs from our vendor, he tested extraordinarily well,” the sheriff’s department said.
